This June (2010), twenty-two scholarships were awarded at the June commencement ceremonies of 4 Orillia schools to young Orillia and area women who are planning to continue their education at the college/university level. The deserving students met the CFUW/Orillia criteria of Academic Ability, Integrity, Love of Learning, Leadership, and School and Community Involvement.
We also offer scholarships to graduating students from the Orillia Alternative School and the Orillia Learning Centre as well as Mature Students planning to enter a College or University in 2010.
Anyone who wishes to make a donation to the Scholarship Fund may do so by contacting us. A receipt for Canadian Income Tax purposes will be issued with our appreciation. Please contact us for further information.
Scholarship Applicants
Details and application forms may be obtained at the Guidance Departments of any one of the four Orillia High Schools, namely O.D.C.V.I., Park Street, Patrick Fogarty, and Twin Lakes Secondary School as well as the Orillia Alternative School and the Orillia Learning Centre.
