Speaking of Wildlife is a wildlife education centre that provides permanent sanctuary to non-releasable Ontario wildlife. Many of their animal residents have been injured, orphaned, abandoned or illegally kept as pets and cannot be returned to the wild where they belong.
Where suited, these animals may become ambassadors for their species and help to teach audiences across the province about the animals that we share our environment with. In this presentation, Krystal will give us a glimpse into her world with behind-the-scenes photos of her wildlife education centre, discuss husbandry and care of wild animals in captivity, as well as share personal accounts of wildlife encounters and local volunteer rescue.
