CFUW Orillia and the CFUW Education Foundation held a 2026 Scholarship Send-Off event on August 12th.
This event celebrated the achievements of 33 local secondary school students pursuing post-secondary education. Scholarships ranged from $1000 to $5000 for a total of $55,900 awarded that evening.
The CFUW Education Foundation awards included a grant from the Frank Hori Foundation, the Nan Farwell Memorial Scholarship, and the Marlene Bulas Scholarship.
